Great to meet you!

I believe therapy works best when you feel genuinely understood and comfortable being yourself. I’m a Licensed Clinical Alcohol and Drug Counselor with a background in forensic psychology and extensive experience supporting people through substance use, recovery, and significant life changes. I know reaching out for support can feel vulnerable, so I work hard to create a space that feels welcoming, respectful, and free of judgment. You don’t need to have everything figured out before we start.

My approach to therapy

My approach is compassionate, collaborative, and honest. I’ll take the time to understand the whole picture, not just the problem that brought you through the door. You can expect me to listen and support you, but I’ll also ask thoughtful questions, offer feedback, and challenge you when it can help you grow. We’ll work together to understand patterns, build on your strengths, and make changes that feel realistic and meaningful to you.

What you can expect from me

Our first session is really about getting to know each other and understanding what brought you to therapy. We’ll talk about what’s going on, what feels most important right now, and what you’d like to get out of our work together. I’ll ask questions to help me understand the bigger picture, but there’s no expectation that you share everything at once. My hope is that you leave feeling heard and with a clearer sense of where we can go from here.
