Great to meet you!

Thank you for being here and taking the time to learn more about me.

I bring over 15 years of nursing experience in both inpatient and community settings, which has given me a well-rounded understanding of mental health care. I earned my Master’s degree in Psychiatric Mental Health Nursing from the University of Saint Joseph and have been practicing as a PMHNP for the past five years.

I have worked with clients experiencing a wide range of mental health conditions, from complex to less complex, and I use this experience to individualize care for each person. I am committed to providing compassionate, evidence-based treatment in a supportive and collaborative environment where clients feel heard, respected, and empowered in their care.

My approach to therapy

My approach to care is warm, collaborative, and client-centered. I focus on truly listening, understanding your goals, and creating a personalized treatment plan that feels supportive and realistic. I use thoughtful, evidence-based medication management while also valuing the role of therapy, lifestyle balance, and coping skills. My goal is to help you feel empowered, supported, and confident as we work together toward lasting mental wellness.

What you can expect from me

In your first session with me, you can expect a warm, supportive, and non-judgmental space where you are truly heard. We’ll take time to talk about what brought you to care, your current concerns, your mental health history, and what you hope to gain from treatment. I focus on understanding you as a whole person, not just your symptoms.

I’ll ask thoughtful questions, listen carefully, and work collaboratively with you to create a personalized plan that fits your needs and goals. If medication is appropriate, we will discuss options clearly, including benefits, possible side effects, and your preferences. There is never pressure—your comfort and understanding always come first.

Most importantly, this first session is about building trust, clarity, and a foundation for healing. You can expect to leave feeling supported, informed, and empowered about your next steps in care.
