Great to meet you!

I am a Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with experience providing compassionate, evidence-based mental health care to adults with a variety of concerns, including anxiety, depression, ADHD, mood disorders, and other psychiatric conditions. In addition to clinical practice, I have experience in nursing education, which has strengthened my ability to explain diagnoses and treatment options in a clear and approachable way. I value creating a comfortable, nonjudgmental environment where clients feel heard, respected, and involved in their care.

My approach to therapy

My approach is collaborative, individualized, and focused on the whole person rather than simply treating symptoms. I take time to understand what you are experiencing, how it is affecting your daily life, and what you hope to accomplish through treatment. Together, we will discuss treatment options, including medication management when appropriate, and develop a plan that feels realistic and aligned with your goals. I believe clients should understand the “why” behind their treatment and feel comfortable asking questions and participating in decisions about their care.

What you can expect from me

During your first session, we will spend time getting to know you and discussing your current concerns, symptoms, medical and psychiatric history, medications, lifestyle, and treatment goals. I will ask questions to better understand the full picture while giving you space to share what is most important to you. We will then discuss my initial impressions and possible treatment options and create a plan together. My goal is for you to leave the first visit feeling heard, informed, and clear about the next steps in your care.
