Great to meet you!

I am a certified Family and Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. I take a holistic approach to psychiatry, considering a patient's entire well-being, including their physical, emotional, mental, social, and spiritual health. I take a psychodynamic and humanistic approach to care, helping patients explore their emotions, understand conflicts, and identify unconscious motivations. I also explore a person's current emotions and how they guide their actions and feelings. In humanistic therapy, the client takes responsibility for their emotions and actions. In humanistic therapy, the client takes responsibility for their emotions and actions. I work with LGBTQIA+ straight and cisgender populations and treat depression, anxiety, bipolar and mood disorders, eating disorders, PTSD, and postpartum depression. I help patients set goals that are important to them, tackling one goal at a time, so things do not become too overwhelming. I like to create a safe and comforting environment. I like to be a supportive listener but also provide guidance when tackling specific, problematic situations, and help clients obtain and enhance skills to improve their mental health.

My approach to therapy

I often work with individuals who feel overwhelmed by anxiety, stuck in cycles of mood swings, or burdened by the weight of depression or past trauma. Many are navigating life transitions like postpartum changes, ADHD challenges, or complicated relationships with food. My clients are looking for more than just a diagnosis, they want thoughtful, inclusive care that considers the full picture of their emotional, physical, and spiritual well-being. I help guide them toward clarity, balance, and renewed confidence in themselves.

What you can expect from me

Treatment with me is collaborative and compassionate. I support individuals navigating anxiety, mood swings, trauma, ADHD, postpartum changes, and challenges with food or body image. My goal is to offer inclusive care that helps you feel steady, supported, and empowered, with real-life tools and a plan that fits your unique path. You can expect our first session to be all about getting to know you and what challenges you are facing and what kinds of things you need help with.
