Great to meet you!

My journey towards therapy started in the forests on the Pacific Crest Trail and in the San Juan Mountains as a Wilderness Therapy Guide. I was entranced by people's stories that landed them on the trail, as well as by their takes on life. I decided to get my Master's in Counseling at Adam's State University so that I could professionally hear people's stories. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor in the state of Colorado. I have experience working with families, couples and individuals ages 12+. I am passionate about helping people manage chronic stress that seems inevitable in the current world we live in.

My approach to therapy

I believe humor is a great medicine. I take an existential approach to life's developmental tasks. Through skill-building, storytelling, and increasing self-compassion and understanding we will tackle whatever struggle you are facing.

What you can expect from me

In the first session I will collect as detailed of a big picture as you are comfortable sharing. I will help you identify your goals for therapy. We will make a treatment plan together and discuss modalities and interventions we might use to reach your goals. Each session will be a collaborative effort to reach your goals and address life events that come up along the way.
