Great to meet you!

If balancing academic/work pressure and your personal life is leaving you feeling anxious, overwhelmed, or burned out, I am here to help. Many clients I work with enter therapy feeling stuck in cycles of overthinking, self-doubt, or pushing themselves at the expense of their well-being. Perfectionism and self-criticism are often present too, making it even harder to slow down or feel satisfied. I specialize in therapy with college/graduate students and young professionals struggling with anxiety, perfectionism, early career stress, relationship concerns, and life transitions. I also work with survivors of sexual trauma.

My approach to therapy

My approach is warm, collaborative, and values-focused. After working together, my clients often have greater self-confidence, increased self-trust, and a more compassionate relationship with themselves. We'll explore practical tools to move forward from unhelpful patterns so that you can live more authentically without sacrificing your goals.

I am here to support you in understanding yourself with greater insight and compassion, softening anxiety’s influence on your wellbeing, and building a life that reflects your values instead of fear or pressure. I offer online therapy for busy academic and professional lives. If this feels like a good fit, I invite you to reach out!

What you can expect from me

The first therapy session is typically more structured than ongoing sessions, but it still feels like a conversation.

The first appointment is the start of building a full picture of who you are and what brings you in at this season of your life.

I’ll usually ask questions about:

  • What led you to seek therapy now
  • What feels most distressing or difficult right now
  • What you’re hoping will change through therapy
  • Your emotional or physical symptoms
  • Important relationships in your life
  • Relevant past experiences and patterns over time

We may spend more time on certain areas and less on others depending on what feels most important or present for you. And we won’t cover everything at once. It is important to me to go at a pace that feels supportive to you. I’ll often ask how you’re feeling throughout the session and adjust according to your needs.
