Great to meet you!

Hello Since becoming an RN in 1985, Ive had the opportunity to work in healthcare settings including oncology, intensive care.,hospice and in-patient psychiatry. In 2001 I graduated cum laude from Northeastern University with a Masters in Nursing, earned my Board Certification as a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner and opened an independent practice 2001. I’ve had extensive experience in both psychotherapy and medication management, and psychotherapy is what I love most about my practice.

A bit about my approach to therapy

First, I listen to my patients’ story with an open mind and heart. I ask questions to fill in the gaps and by the end of the first session, the patient and I will form a diagnosis and a treatment plan with which the patient agrees.

What you can expect from our first session

Clarity, hope and the feeling of being understood, which lessens the patient’s feeling of being alone.
