Hi! I'm Maggie Parris, an LCSW based out of East Tennessee. I graduated from East Tennessee State University with a master's in social work and have worked in community based mental health for the last 9 years with children, adolescents, and their families.
I specialize in working with high achieving, self-motivated clients who struggle with life transitions, anxiety, depression, and relationship issues. I utilize a variety of methods including stage of change, motivational interviewing, boundary setting, and cognitive behavioral therapies to support clients in identifying what they want and how to achieve their goals.
I support clients with setting their own goals for therapy and breaking down those goals into smaller, manageable steps to support in making progress.
