Great to meet you!

I am a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC) with over 23 years of experience in mental health care. My background includes working with individuals across the lifespan in both inpatient and outpatient settings, with a strong focus on anxiety, depression, ADHD, trauma-related disorders, and mood disorders.

I have a deep passion for supporting individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder and addressing autism-related behaviors. I am committed to helping patients and families better understand behavioral challenges, improve emotional regulation, and build practical strategies that support daily functioning and long-term success.

As a U.S. Army veteran, I have a strong understanding of the unique challenges faced by service members and veterans. I am dedicated to providing compassionate, evidence-based care that helps individuals regain balance and feel more in control of their mental health.

I offer a supportive, non-judgmental, and collaborative approach to care. My goal is to create a space where you feel heard, understood, and empowered. Together, we will develop a personalized treatment plan that may include medication management, education, and practical tools to help you move forward.

I am bilingual in English and Spanish and strive to provide culturally sensitive, accessible care for all individuals.

My approach to therapy

My approach to care is collaborative, supportive, and patient-centered. I strive to create a safe and non-judgmental environment where patients feel comfortable discussing their concerns openly. I provide individualized treatment plans using evidence-based care, including medication management, education, and practical strategies that support everyday functioning.

I have a strong passion for working with individuals experiencing ADHD, anxiety, and Autism Spectrum Disorder behaviors, with a focus on emotional regulation, attention, and social challenges. I believe in clear communication, consistency, and building realistic progress together over time.

What you can expect from me

During your first session, you can expect a supportive, structured, and non-judgmental environment where we focus on getting to know you and understanding your concerns.

We will complete a comprehensive evaluation that includes your current symptoms, mental health history, medical background, and any stressors or life circumstances that may be impacting your well-being. I will also ask about your goals for treatment so we can begin building a plan that feels right for you.

You’ll have the opportunity to ask questions, share what has or hasn’t worked for you in the past, and discuss any concerns about medications or treatment options. If appropriate, we may begin discussing treatment recommendations, including medication management and practical strategies to support your daily functioning.

My goal is for you to leave the first session feeling heard, understood, and with a clear direction for next steps.
