Great to meet you!

I am a first generation, bilingual Latina Therapist and mom. I know first hand what it's like to carry both an emotional load and the unspoken weight of cultural expectations. I created a space where you don't have to choose between your culture and healing. Clients often say they feel heard and less alone in our sessions. I went to CSUN and received my Master's in Social Work. I have since worked with children of all ages, families, and young adults in schools and 1:1 therapy. My treatment areas are:

*Perinatal and Postpartum Mental Health

*Anxiety, Overwhelm, Depression, Burnout, Stress

*Caregiver Stress & Sandwich Generation Challenges

  • Cultural Identity and Generational Trauma
  • Life Transitions
  • First- Gen Mental Health experiences

Populations Served:

*Women, Mothers

*First Gen Daughters

*Women Caring for aging parents and children (Sandwich Gen)

  • First time, New, and Expecting Moms
  • *Adults Navigating culture, identity, and family dynamics.

My approach to therapy

I specialize in helping Latina women, especially mothers, navigate the pressures of caregiving, generational stress and responsibilities, and all things not commonly talked about in motherhood, living with family, and just life transitions. My culturally responsive approach honors your roots, lived experiences, and language. My approach is leading with compassion, empathy, and an open mind. I am dedicated to empowering young adults through culturally sensitive mental health services while offering a calm, judgement free space to reconnect with yourself. I use modalities such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), solution-focused therapy, motivational interviewing (MI), and mindfulness-based approaches. We will work together to unpack some inherited expectations, ease anxiety, and feelings of sadness, overwhelm, etc. Whether you are adjusting to the postpartum life, caring for aging parents, or simply overwhelmed by it all happing at once, you are not alone. Together we will make a plan and space for your healing and growth.

What you can expect from me

During a first session with me, clients can expect a welcoming and supportive atmosphere where they can freely express their concerns and goals. Clients can expect to leave sessions feeling seen, supported, and empowered. Together, we will work on untangling the emotional weight of caregiving, cultural expectations, and life transitions. You'll gain practical tools to manage anxiety, set boundaries, and reconnect with your voice and values.
