Great to meet you!

I know that starting therapy can feel intimidating, especially when you're already carrying a lot. I'm a licensed therapist dedicated to helping you better understand yourself and navigate life with greater confidence and clarity.

With over five years of experience in private practice and nonprofit mental health, I help teens and adults navigating anxiety, depression, OCD, bipolar disorder, self-esteem concerns, and life transitions. My background also includes research experience at FIU's Center for Children and Families and the THRIVE Clinic at the University of Miami Hospital.

I believe meaningful change starts with feeling heard and understood. Whether you're facing a specific challenge or simply feeling stuck, I strive to provide a supportive and nonjudgmental environment where we can work together toward your goals.

My approach to therapy

I believe therapy works best when it feels collaborative and tailored to your unique needs. My approach is grounded in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), helping you better understand your thoughts, emotions, and behaviors while developing practical skills for navigating life's challenges.

Together, we'll work to identify patterns that may be keeping you stuck, strengthen coping strategies, and build a life that feels more aligned with your values and goals. My style is warm, thoughtful, and practical, with a focus on helping clients create meaningful and lasting changes.

What you can expect from me

The first session is an opportunity for us to get to know one another and begin building a foundation for our work together.

I want to not only understand your symptoms, but also your strengths, values, relationships, and the broader context of your life.

By the end of the session, you can expect to have a clearer understanding of how I work, an opportunity to ask questions, and a collaborative discussion about potential goals for therapy. Most importantly, I hope you leave feeling heard, understood, and hopeful about the path ahead.
