Great to meet you!

I specialize in working with adults and adolescents working through trauma, shame, relationship/family difficulties, and mood disorders. I have experience working with a broad range of ages, ethnicities, socio-economic backgrounds, genders, sexualities, and family compositions.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is to create a warm, strengths-based, nonjudgmental, and collaborative space for clients to explore how their past experiences are impacting their lives today. In reflecting on the past, one can identify which behaviors and beliefs no longer serve one's current goals and circumstances, and develop a healthier, happier way of being. I am primarily trained as a psychodynamic psychotherapist, but increasingly integrate somatic elements to my approach when appropriate and of interest to my clients.

What you can expect from me

With any new client, the first goal is to get to know you in a holistic way, understanding the ways your history, present circumstances, and strengths are shaping your everyday life. From there, my goal is to facillitate a collaborative relationship focused on building insight, curiosity, and new tools for navigating life's challenges.
