Great to meet you!

I am a licensed mental health counselor and school psychologist. I earned a master's degree in Counselor Education, and a specialist degree in School Psychology. I have experience working with children, teenagers, and young adults in a variety of settings. I am passionate about psychology and helping others become the best version of themselves. I will do my best to help individuals of any age, understand, accept, and overcome the challenges they face, because their success is also my own.

A bit about my approach to therapy

I usually take a client-centered approach to therapy. I believe that the journey of counseling belongs to the client, and I am there to listen and help them gain awareness and understanding of the issue at hand, while also helping them find tools to overcome it. As I take this approach, I integrate different modalities depending on the client's present concern, because I believe that people are complex, and so are their problems, therefore their treatment should not be a one-size fits all.

What you can expect from our first session

Clients can expect to leave my sessions feeling truly heard and understood. I want them to leave knowing that I care and that I listened to them without judgement and with an open mind. I hope that when clients leave my sessions, they feel some level of relief from the issue that brought them to therapy. I want my clients leave my sessions knowing that I want what is best for them and that I will do everything I can as a therapist to help them feel better and overcome what is troubling them.
