Great to meet you!

Hi, my name is Maisa Danno. I am bilingual in Arabic and English and recently graduated from Walden University with a Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in Colorado.

I am passionate about helping people navigate life’s challenges, overcome obstacles, and build healthier, more fulfilling lives. I strive to create a safe, compassionate, and supportive environment where clients feel heard, valued, and understood. My approach is rooted in empathy, understanding, and meeting each client where they are in their journey.

My approach to therapy

I primarily use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) to help clients develop coping skills, manage emotions, challenge unhelpful thought patterns, and work toward meaningful, lasting change. My goal is to empower each person to recognize their strengths and feel more confident in their ability to navigate life’s challenges.

What you can expect from me

During our first session, you will have the opportunity to share what has been bothering you, what challenges you are currently facing, and the areas you would like to work on. My goal is to create a safe, welcoming, and nonjudgmental space where you feel comfortable being yourself and sharing at your own pace. We will begin getting to know each other, discuss your goals for therapy, and explore how I can best support you on your journey toward healing and personal growth. There is no pressure to share everything at once; we will take things one step at a time.
