Great to meet you!

"There are opportunities in ever new beginning! I believe therapy offers a meaningful chance to make informed choices and implement changes that can significantly enrich the quality of your life."

I am a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor with over 20 years of experience in the mental health field. My career began in community mental health, where I worked in residential treatment and recovery settings providing assessment, counseling, supervision, and clinical leadership to being in private practice.

I have extensive experience supporting individuals with a wide range of concerns, including depression, anxiety, OCD, ODD, PTSD, ADHD, and issues related to sexual abuse, neglect, and maladaptive behaviors. I have also worked closely with individuals who have experienced trauma, abuse, and complex life challenges.

My approach to therapy

My clinical work focuses on helping clients navigate life transitions to overcome barriers related to relationships, domestic violence, adoption, LGBTQIA+ concerns, anger management, school transitions, substance use, and mood disorders. I am dedicated to empowering individuals to build resilience and create meaningful, lasting change.

I am committed to treating every client with respect, dignity, sensitivity, and compassion. My specialties include Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT). I also incorporate Motivational Interviewing, Mindfulness, and ARC (Attachment, Regulation, and Competency) skills, along with other evidence-based approaches.

What you can expect from me

My therapeutic style is client-centered, solution-focused, and strength-based. From the first session, I work collaboratively with clients to identify roadblocks and develop practical strategies to overcome them, supporting each person in reaching their goals.
