Great to meet you!

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. I have worked primarily with children, adolescents and parents throughout my career. I have a BS in Child Development and Family Studies and a Masters in Social Work. I have worked in child protection, residential treatment facilities, as a hospital social worker and as an independent contractor providing therapy to children and families in their homes.

My approach to therapy

I am specifically trained in Psychotherapy, Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT). I also pull from various treatment modalities such as motivational interviewing, Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), family systems theory, mindfulness, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), art therapy, attachment-based therapy, and somatic experiencing.

What you can expect from me

The strengthening of self through emotional intelligence, trauma healing and building a sense of competency in your life is my overall and daily mission. Too often, we are taught to suppress our emotions and keep going. We may feel that addressing our hurt and daily challenges are too painful to conquer. I am here to not only support and guide you in this process but to also build your sense of confidence and self-worth during this courageous journey of healing.
