Great to meet you!

Are you feeling anxious, depressed, stressed, angry, and/or overwhelmed with other negative emotions weighing you down? Sometimes managing life’s events can require more energy, coping strategies and tools than you have in your toolbox. I believe I can help. My motto is “the way out is in.” I am a Licensed Professional Counselor, Certified Substance Abuse Counselor, and a Certified Sex Offender Treatment Provider. I am a psychotherapist who enjoy lighting the path for others. I believe you are the authority over your own life but sometimes you may need someone objective to help you look from the outside in. Coupled with my clinical expertise, I am emotionally attuned to others. I often recognize others’ feelings and intuitively understand where these sentiments come from. As a result, I often know what to say to help find solutions that address the individuals’ concerns.

My approach to therapy

Cognitive Behavior Therapy, Person Centered, and Solution Focused

What you can expect from me

Please allow me to introduce myself, my name is Maiszie Meade-Mills. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor, Certified Substance Abuse Counselor, and a Certified Sex Offender Treatment Provider. I am a psychotherapist who enjoy lighting the path for others. I believe you are the authority over your own life but sometimes you need someone objective to help you look from the outside in. I have more than 2 decades of service experience working in the human services field and meeting the direct needs of adults, children and families which include work with state government, local social services, and private agencies in different capacities. Because no one approach is always the answer to addressing mental or emotional health issues, I am trained in several modalities and skilled at individualizing therapeutic treatment.
