Great to meet you!

As a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner, I provide compassionate, evidence-based care for adults experiencing depression, anxiety, PTSD, bipolar disorder, substance use disorders, and other mental health concerns. I also specialize in addiction medicine and medication-assisted treatment (MAT), supporting individuals at different stages of recovery.

For some patients, the right treatment means starting or optimizing medication. For others, it may mean simplifying an overly complicated regimen, reducing unnecessary medications, or safely tapering and deprescribing when clinically appropriate.

My approach to therapy

Building strong therapeutic relationships is at the heart of my practice. I strive to create a welcoming, judgment-free environment where patients feel heard, respected, and empowered to take an active role in their mental health journey. Through comprehensive assessments and thoughtful collaboration, I develop individualized treatment plans that prioritize safety, clinical excellence, and long-term well-being. My previous experience as a registered nurse at Scripps Health gave me a strong foundation in caring for patients in high-acuity settings, allowing me to confidently manage complex clinical situations while maintaining a calm, supportive presence.

What you can expect from me

Helping people regain hope and improve their quality of life is what inspires me every day. I consider it a privilege to support my patients as they work toward healing and lasting wellness. Outside of my practice, I enjoy traveling, hiking, volunteering, and connecting with people from diverse backgrounds and cultures. I believe that maintaining balance and embracing a holistic perspective are essential to overall health, and I bring that philosophy into every aspect of the care I provide.
