Great to meet you!

Maja Lewis, LCSW

Are you feeling stuck, overwhelmed by sadness, fear, worry, guilt, or shame? If you're struggling to manage your thoughts or emotions, you are not alone. Life can present challenges that feel too heavy to carry alone — but you don’t have to. As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, I specialize in working with adults navigating depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, and PTSD. My passion for this work runs deep — it's not just a profession, it's a calling.

Using evidence-based approaches like Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT), I help clients uncover patterns, process trauma, and create meaningful change. In our first few sessions, you can expect a welcoming, collaborative space where you’ll have the opportunity to share your story and define what you hope to gain from therapy. Together, we’ll create a holistic treatment plan tailored to your unique needs and goals.

I strive to build a warm, supportive environment where you can feel safe being vulnerable and truly seen. Most of my clients experience a gradual lifting of symptoms within the first month, and continued improvement as we work together. Healing takes time, but it begins with one step — and I’m here to walk that journey with you.

As Proverbs 27:17 says, “As iron sharpens iron, so one person sharpens another.” Let’s talk about what you’re going through and begin making sense of it — together.
