Great to meet you!

Hi there! My name is Majella Switalski and I am a licensed therapist (LMFT) in California. I specialize in working with folks experiencing life transitions, burnout, depression, anxiety, pregnancy & new parenthood, and I am certified in Perinatal Mental Health.

A bit about my approach to therapy

I work primarily using principles from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), as well as elements of Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Solution-Focused Therapy. I provide a safe space to explore your thoughts, feelings and behaviors and work with you to identify harmful cycles you may be stuck in. From there, we will work together to create goals and actionable steps to begin adjusting those cycles to healthier, more fulfilling behaviors.

What you can expect from our first session

Clients leave my sessions feeling heard, understood, and challenged. Our goal together will be to help you learn and implement skills outside of our sessions, eventually working myself out of a job.
