Great to meet you!

I believe therapy should be a space where you can show up as your whole self — without judgment, pressure, or having to have everything figured out. My approach is warm, collaborative, trauma-informed, and culturally responsive.

I work with adolescents, adults, and seniors who may look like they are holding everything together on the outside while feeling overwhelmed, emotionally exhausted, or stuck on the inside. Many of my clients are navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship issues, women’s issues, family stress, anger, substance use concerns, maternal mental health concerns, or major life transitions. You may be experiencing burnout, living in survival mode, or carrying the emotional weight of being the one others depend on. Together, we can create space to understand what you are carrying, identify patterns that may be keeping you stuck, and begin building a life that feels more sustainable, grounded, and aligned with who you are becoming.

My approach to therapy

Together, we’ll explore what’s happening beneath the surface, identify patterns that may no longer be serving you, and develop practical tools to help you navigate emotions, relationships, stress, and life transitions.

My goal isn’t simply to help you “get through” difficult moments. It’s to help you develop a deeper understanding of yourself, strengthen your coping skills, and create a life that feels more sustainable and aligned with who you are becoming. I draw from Strength-Based Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Trauma-Focused CBT, and Cognitive Behavioral Family Therapy. Depending on your needs, our work may focus on processing trauma, managing anxiety or depression, improving communication, strengthening family relationships, addressing anger or stress, or building healthier ways to respond when life feels overwhelming. Therapy with me is collaborative, supportive, and focused on helping you feel empowered in your next steps.

What you can expect from me

We will talk about what brought you to therapy, what you are experiencing right now, your history, and what you hope will be different as a result of therapy. I’ll answer any questions you have, explain how I work, and collaborate with you on goals for treatment.

You don’t have to prepare the perfect explanation of what’s happening or know exactly where to start. Just come as you are, and we will figure out the rest together. You can expect a warm, open-minded, and empowering space where your experiences are taken seriously and your pace is respected. Over time, therapy can help you better understand your emotions, build coping skills, improve relationships, move through trauma, reduce stress, and feel more confident creating meaningful change in your life.
