I approach therapy holistically. I believe in seeing the whole person: spirit, soul, body.
Acceptance and commitment (ACT)
I have a ACT approach in my practice to help individuals develop greater psychological flexibility, allowing them to accept uncomfortable thoughts and emotions while still actively pursuing meaningful goals in life, even when faced with challenges, rather than trying to avoid or suppress them
Mind-body approach
This approach has proving to be effective in my practice my way of my clients seeing a Reduction in stress and anxiety, Enhanced emotional regulation, Increased self-awareness and insight, and Promoting mental stability by connecting mind and body.
Christian Counseling
As a Christian, I've seen this approach effective for clients that needs treatment focused through a faith lens. It allows them to address personal challenges and life struggles through the lens of their Christian faith, integrating biblical teachings and spiritual practices alongside traditional therapy techniques, providing a holistic approach to healing that considers both their emotional and spiritual well-being.
Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT)
My approach involves EFT because it helps individuals improve their emotional awareness, manage their emotions effectively, and strengthen their relationships by addressing underlying emotional patterns and attachment needs.
Trauma-Focused CBT
For individuals with trauma history, TF CBT has proven as an evidence-based approach that effectively help process and manage the impacts of traumatic experiences, significantly reducing symptoms of PTSD by addressing distorted thoughts, emotions, and behaviors related to the trauma. It's empowering by also providing tools to enhance the individual's life.
