Great to meet you!

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor, dedicated to helping children, adolescents, adults, couples, and families navigate life's challenges while building resilience and achieving meaningful personal growth. Since 2018, I have provided compassionate, evidence-based therapy in a variety of clinical settings, tailoring treatment to each client's unique strengths, experiences, and goals.

I earned my Master of Science in Counseling from Grand Canyon University and currently serve as both a college professor and counselor while maintaining a private practice. My combined experience in higher education and clinical mental health allows me to support clients through academic, personal, career, and relational challenges across all stages of life.

My approach to therapy

My clinical approach is collaborative, culturally responsive, and grounded in evidence-based practices, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectal Behavioral Therapy (DBT). I have experience providing couples therapy, grief counseling, career development counseling, and treatment for individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, phobias, and other emotional and behavioral concerns. I am committed to providing LGBTQ+ affirming care, creating a safe, inclusive, and respectful environment where every client feels valued and supported.

What you can expect from me

Your first session is all about getting to know you in a comfortable, supportive, and judgment-free environment. I believe therapy should feel like a conversation where you can be your authentic self without fear of criticism or pressure.

During our first meeting, we'll discuss what brought you to therapy, explore your current challenges, and identify your strengths, goals, and hopes for the future. Together, we'll begin creating a personalized treatment plan that reflects your unique needs, values, and pace.

My goal is for you to leave your first session feeling heard, understood, and with a clearer sense of direction. Whether you're navigating anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, trauma, addiction, self-esteem concerns, or major life transitions, we'll work collaboratively to build practical coping skills, increase self-awareness, and create meaningful, lasting change.
