Great to meet you!

Hello, there! I’m Dr. Makenya Pringle and I’m a psychologist who believes therapy to be a safe place to unlock resolutions that are right for you and your personal circumstances. I’ve been practicing for almost twenty years and can appreciate that seeking comfortable and nonjudgmental spaces can be at times overwhelming. My goal is to help set that stage where you can achieve the meaningful resolution and growth you seek to your real-life struggles.

My approach to therapy

I believe in a collaborative process, where you are the expert in you and I support your journey with reflection and challenges along the way. It is important that we define what success looks like for you so the work that we do is oriented toward that goal, and ultimately more meaningful and long-lasting. My sincere hope is that the work you do in-session translates to your world outside of therapy.

What you can expect from me

Early on you’ll have the opportunity to share your story, your concerns, and the goals that you’d like to see achieved in therapy. We’ll come up with a plan together to make progress toward those goals. As we uncover and untangle solutions throughout the process, just know that you’ll be supported every step of the way.
