Great to meet you!

I decided that I wanted to be a therapist early into undergraduate school when I began my own healing journey from food struggles and body hatred. In seeking support, I realized how difficult it can be for people to find adequate care. I decided that I wanted to be part of the solution.

I began working at an adolescent eating disorder residential treatment center in 2015, where I was able to gain experience as direct care staff. In my role, I received training in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). In 2020, I began my Master's degree in psychology at University of Massachusetts, Global. During this time, I completed my practicum working with those struggling with substance abuse and severe mental illness. I also became increasingly passionate about trauma-informed care and sought out additional training in Somatic Experiencing. Following graduate school, I completed the remainder of my associate hours working at a PHP/IOP program for eating disorders. Here, I continued providing care in a trauma-informed setting and also received training in Compassion Focused Therapy (CFT).

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is direct, empathetic, and client-centered. I empower my clients to move towards lasting changes at their own pace. I have almost a decade of experience in the mental health field as well as training in Somatic Experiencing. Therapy with me is tailored to each client's unique needs, ensuring you receive the best possible care.
