Great to meet you!

Greetings,

My name is Malachi Walton. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) & a Licensed Clinical Alcohol and Drug Counselor (LCADC) in the State of New Jersey. I have a BA in Psychology & a MA in Counseling from Fairleigh Dickinson University (Madison Campus). I began my career as a change agent in 1997. I have worked with children, teenagers, & adults. I enjoy assisting people to enhance the quality of life that they desire to have.

My approach to therapy

My counseling philosophy is to meet a person wherever they are, with whatever the issues are that they are dealing with, & assist the person(s) to the ultimate goal of self-empowerment. My goal as a clinician is to assist you, your family, and your loved ones to enhance his or her quality of life to a point where professional services are no longer necessary to sustain & maintain his or her full potential.

What you can expect from me

My ultimate goal of the first session is to ensure that there is the opportunity for a second & third session. I believe that it is very important to help people understand that my goal is to assist individuals & families in becoming better versions of themselves.
