Great to meet you!

Hi, I’m Malia. I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. My therapeutic style is rooted in my belief of our human potential to reflect, relate, learn, and grow. I help adolescents and adults with self discovery through life transitions. Life transitions are common and often support is helpful; whether that is a new relationship, big move, adolescence to adulthood, school or career path, parenthood, or if you are experiencing new, unexpected emotions in your life.

A bit about my approach to therapy

People I work with often are seeking support on how to navigate the complexities of life, whether that is learning how to set boundaries, discovering their needs and how to voice them, living in their values, and uncovering how to live a joyous, fulfilled life. My passion is to help you know you are not alone, provide tools to better help navigate change, and for you to stay true to your unique self through the process.

What you can expect from our first session

I draw from a holistic and client-centered approach, tailoring my methods to meet the individual needs and preferences of each person. My aim is to create an environment that fosters trust, empathy, and open communication, allowing clients to express themselves freely and work towards positive change. I combine traditional talk therapy with DBT, CBT, and SFBT and I am deeply committed to fostering personal growth, self awareness, and overall well-being.
