Great to meet you!

About Your Therapist:

I specialize in helping women strengthen the relationship they have with themselves and the people they love. Whether you’re navigating anxiety, painful relationship patterns, family conflict, low self-worth, life transitions, or the emotional weight of trying to be “everything” for everyone else, you don’t have to carry it alone. Together, we’ll work to heal unhealthy patterns, establish healthier boundaries, build emotional resilience, and create more fulfilling relationships rooted in confidence, clarity, and purpose.

I also enjoy working with couples and families who are committed to improving communication, rebuilding trust, navigating conflict, and creating stronger, healthier connections. Whether you’re preparing for marriage, working through challenges in your relationship, or seeking healthier family dynamics, I provide a supportive space where meaningful and lasting change can take place.

I’m Malikka Miller, LCSW, a faith-informed psychotherapist whose approach is warm, empowering, collaborative, and thoughtfully direct. Clients often describe me as down-to-earth, supportive, and easy to talk to. I believe therapy should be a place where you feel genuinely heard, understood, and appropriately challenged. Together, we’ll identify practical tools and evidence-based strategies tailored to your unique needs, helping you move beyond survival and toward healing, growth, and lasting emotional wellness. Faith and spirituality can also be thoughtfully integrated into our work when they are important to you.

Healing isn’t about becoming someone different, it’s about reconnecting with the healthiest version of who you’ve always been. If you’re ready to invest in yourself and the relationships that matter most, I’d be honored to walk alongside you on your healing journey.

My approach to therapy

I believe healthy relationships begin with healing the relationship you have with yourself.

My approach is warm, collaborative, and down-to-earth. Therapy should feel like a conversation where you don’t have to pretend everything is okay. Together, we’ll explore the experiences, emotions, beliefs, and relationship patterns that may be keeping you stuck while identifying practical steps that help you move forward with greater confidence, clarity, and purpose.

I’ll meet you with compassion while also gently challenging you to grow beyond the patterns that no longer serve you. Every person and every relationship is different, so I tailor each session to your unique needs, using evidence-based approaches to help you strengthen your emotional well-being, improve communication, navigate life’s challenges, and build healthier relationships, with yourself and with the people who matter most.

Whether you’re healing from painful experiences, working through relationship challenges, or navigating a new season of life, my goal is to create a space where you feel safe, supported, understood, and empowered to make meaningful, lasting change.

Healing isn’t about perfection. It’s about progress; and you don’t have to make that journey alone.

What you can expect from me

Taking the first step toward therapy can feel intimidating, but you don’t have to show up with everything figured out. You just have to show up.

Our first session is an opportunity for us to get to know one another. I’ll spend time learning about what brought you to therapy, what you’ve been carrying, and what you’re hoping will be different in your life. This is a judgment-free space where you don’t have to pretend to have it all together.

We’ll move at a pace that feels comfortable for you while still being intentional about making progress. Before we end, we’ll identify the areas we’d like to focus on and create a plan that reflects your goals, not someone else’s expectations for you.

My hope is that you’ll leave our first session feeling lighter than when you arrived, with greater clarity, renewed hope, and the confidence that you don’t have to walk this journey alone.
