My approach to therapy

My training and experience focus on 'client centered', psychodynamic therapy; method and theory. This creates support for my clients who want change in their lives. We'll use a range of modalities to support awareness and change. I specialize in treatment for eating disorders, mood (irritability/anger), anxiety and depression.

What you can expect from me

My intention is to help create a safe space for my client to ask questions and/or describe current tensions or conflicts in life. My approach is to explore the specific individual's circumstances. This starts with inquiring what brings the client to therapy at this time and may include relationship history and/or family history.
