Great to meet you!

I am a devoted psychotherapist and licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, EMDR trained and Harvard trained in mindfulness for clinical practice. With a compassionate and integrative approach, I support adults, children, teens, couples, and parents on their journeys. My focus is on fostering healing, resilience, self-love, and personal growth while honoring each person’s unique culture, story and strengths.

My approach to therapy

I am an easy-going psychotherapist with a sense of humor. I work with clients from diverse backgrounds, including the LGBTQ+ community, and offer support for a wide range of challenges. Whether you're dealing with anxiety, depression, trauma, family dynamics, parental support, relationship/intimacy issues, searching for life goals and purpose, life transitions, PTSD, learning disorders, multicultural and diversity issues. I'm here to help. I also specialize in career guidance, stress management, coping skills, anger management, and healing from a history of abuse. Whatever you're facing, my goal is to provide compassionate and effective support tailored to your unique needs.

I use a variety of therapeutic methods to help you discover new insights and pathways forward. My goal is to create a safe, supportive space where you can explore your thoughts and emotions without judgment, all while feeling heard and understood. My clinical practice integrates evidence-based techniques like EMDR, mindfulness strategies from Harvard, cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), solution-focused therapy, MRI (Mental Research Institute) approaches, Genogram analysis, Narrative therapy, and art and play therapy as well as psychoeducation. I believe these approaches can help people gain emotional resilience, inner strength, and clarity as they navigate life’s challenges.

What you can expect from me

At the heart of my work is a client-centered approach where I respect and honor your unique needs, cultural values, and spiritual beliefs. Therapy should be a collaborative journey where you feel empowered to create positive change—sometimes that could involve lightness, and occasional laughter. But it also means we’ll get serious when necessary, identifying your goals, uncovering underlying patterns, and developing practical strategies for growth and healing.

Together, we will identify your goals, uncover underlying patterns, and develop practical strategies to foster growth, healing, and lasting change. If you are ready to embark on a transformative journey towards greater well-being and stronger relationships, I am here to guide and support you every step of the way. Let's work together to create a life that’s not just fulfilling, but also joyful and harmonious for you and your love ones.
