Hello! I am a Florida licensed mental health counselor that specializes in Autism Spectrum Disorders, ADHD, anxiety disorders, teen issues, parent coaching, attachment issues, relationship issues, grief, neuroplasticity, gut-brain axis health, and integrative holistic health and nutrition.
I believe in providing a client-centered, compassion-focused safe space for all people. It's important to me that people feel they are able to participate in therapy at their own pace. I take the time to listen to client's concerns, thoroughly explain diagnoses and treatment options, and work collaboratively to develop personalized care plans that align with the client’s goals and values.
Oftentimes, individuals are already dealing with a lot mentally and emotionally, and they may not have the capacity to take on rigid goals or homework. I meet the client where they are while working collaboratively in a safe therapeutic space. If a client prefers more structure, and homework I absolutely can provide that. Utilizing ebooks/workbooks, and other tools can also be done in session as well.
