Great to meet you!

I earned my Master of Social Work from Indiana Wesleyan University in 2022 and am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. Since graduating, I have dedicated my career to working in hospice care, providing deep, specialized support to individuals and families during life's most profound and challenging transitions. This intensive background has given me unique clinical expertise in navigating acute grief, complex bereavement, anticipatory loss, and the heavy emotional toll of terminal illness.

My education and specialized hospice experience allow me to bring an advanced understanding of crisis, trauma, and emotional exhaustion into my therapy practice. When you work with me, you are partnering with a clinician who is not only trained in evidence-based treatments like Cognitive Behavioral Therapy but who also has deep, real-world experience holding a safe space for people facing their most overwhelming moments.

My approach to therapy

My therapeutic approach is collaborative, practical, and focused on helping you build tools for real-life change. Using Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and a strengths-based approach, we work as a team to challenge the unhelpful patterns keeping you stuck. We won't just focus on what feels broken; instead, we will actively leverage the natural resilience and capabilities you already possess to help you move forward with confidence.

What you can expect from me

In our first session, your comfort is my priority as we focus on a low-pressure conversation to get to know each other and explore what brings you to therapy. There is no pressure to share your entire story at once. Instead, we will gently look at what feels most urgent right now—whether that is navigating an acute loss, managing anxiety, or coping with depression. Together, we will discuss your goals, introduce how practical CBT tools can help, and outline a customized plan at a pace that feels entirely safe and manageable for you.
