Great to meet you!

I am a warm and compassionate social worker who is passionate about helping adults and older adults feel supported, understood, and empowered. I believe therapy should be a collaborative and supportive space where clients can build on their strengths, gain insight, and develop practical tools to navigate life’s challenges. My current work focuses on the geriatric population, and I also have previous experience working with individuals who are visually impaired. I utilize Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and a strengths-based approach to help clients manage anxiety, depression, grief, and bereavement. My goal is to support clients in building resilience, improving emotional well-being, and feeling more confident as they move through life transitions and difficult experiences.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is warm, welcoming, and nonjudgmental. I work collaboratively with you to understand what is bringing you to therapy, what you would like to change, and what feels most important to focus on. Together, we will identify your strengths, clarify your goals, and develop practical, solution-focused strategies that feel manageable and meaningful for you. My goal is to help you feel comfortable, heard, and supported as we work toward positive change.

What you can expect from me

In your first session with me, you can expect a warm, welcoming, and nonjudgmental space where we begin getting to know one another. We will talk about what brought you to therapy, what you are hoping to work on, and any concerns or questions you may have. I will also ask some background questions to better understand your experiences, strengths, and needs so we can begin identifying goals together. My approach is collaborative and supportive, and my goal is to help you feel comfortable, heard, and understood as we start building a plan that feels meaningful and manageable for you
