Great to meet you!

I am a seasoned behavioral health and forensic psychology leader with over 20 years of experience in county, correctional, and community settings. I hold a Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology, two master’s degrees, and I am a licensed Marriage & Family Therapist as of 2019. My work centers on trauma‐informed care, substance use, sexual abuse victims and offenders, crisis intervention, and forensic experiences.

My approach to therapy

My approach is warm, trauma‐informed, and culturally responsive, with a focus on safety and trust. I tailor evidence‐based interventions to each client’s needs and strengths, emphasizing collaboration and steady, meaningful progress. Through teletherapy, I prioritize accessibility, respect, and a supportive space for healing.

What you can expect from me

In the first session, clients can expect a focused conversation where I gather their history, current concerns, and what they hope to change. I review confidentiality, explain how I work, and clarify what therapy will look like. Together, we identify immediate priorities and set clear initial goals to guide the next steps.
