Great to meet you!

My goal is address areas of your life that are causing distress. I am sex-positive, LGBTQ-affirming and have experience with a variety of issues like: anxiety, stress, depression, sexuality, self-esteem, high demand religions, chronic illness, HIV, and women's issues. I earned my Master's in counseling from CSU-Northridge and a Bachelor's from UCLA in literature.

My approach to therapy

My therapeutic approach centers on meeting you where you are and fostering a collaborative environment to address the issues causing you distress. I utilize a problem-solving orientation while also providing supportive therapy to help you navigate daily challenges. To reinforce our work, I typically provide weekly assignments, which may include worksheets or concepts to consider between sessions.

What you can expect from me

I’ll ask about why you’re here, recent challenges, relevant history, strengths, and supports so I can get a clear picture. Together we’ll identify 1–3 immediate goals or areas to focus on and what success looks like for you (symptom reduction, skill-building, decision-making, etc.)
