Great to meet you!

My name is Malorie Collier. I am a licensed clinical social worker. I have experience with mental health, substance abuse and trauma work. I offer individual, family and couples therapy.

I would love to be a part of your journey and help guide you through the good and the bad times. While creating a safe, welcoming and non judgmental space for you to be who you are.

My approach to therapy

“You are not your mental illness”. Sometimes seeing yourself apart from a diagnosis can be hard. However, I wholeheartedly believe that your diagnosis does not define who you are and hope to instill this idea into you, as my client. My goal as a therapist is to help you to be your best possible self and to encourage you through therapy. I will utilize CBT, EMDR, mindfulness and self love techniques, to name a few. I will push you and encourage you to achieve your goals.

What you can expect from me

During the first session we will discuss more about your history and reasons behind seeking therapy. I like to better understand you as a whole, past and present. I also believe the work you put in outside of therapy is very beneficial, so I will typically give out homework to help with this.
