Great to meet you!

Dr Gibson is a board-certified primary mental health nurse practitioner licensed to diagnose and treat all ages, with a special interest in early recognition of pediatric/adolescent mental health disorders. She obtained her Doctorate in Primary Mental Health Nursing Practice from Regis College and has over a decade of experience in nursing and caring for people of all ages with mental health challenges. Developmental NP was created to fuel her passion for providing mental health services and decrease the delays in access to care that early diagnosis can ensure.

Having started her career previously as a psychiatric nurse in the inpatient settings, she developed the ability to make meaningful connections with her patients and has carried those skills over to her role as a provider. Dr Gibson is committed to lifelong learning and to educating other clinicians and students on best practices for the assessment of patients across the lifespan in need of mental health services.
