Great to meet you!

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor who works primarily with children, adolescents, young adults, and families navigating emotional intensity, relational stress, and life transitions. My practice focuses on helping young people feel more regulated, understood, and confident in who they are, while supporting caregivers in strengthening connection and emotional safety at home.

I have training in attachment-based and experiential therapies, including Emotion Focused Family Therapy (EFFT), and I incorporate trauma-informed approaches to help clients build insight and resilience. I am especially passionate about supporting youth through nature-based therapy and providing affirming care for LGBTQ+ clients.

My background includes working with adolescents experiencing anxiety, depression, family conflict, identity exploration, and emotional dysregulation. I strive to create a space where clients feel safe, respected, and empowered to grow.

My approach to therapy

My approach is relational, attachment-based, and experiential. I believe meaningful change happens when clients feel emotionally safe and genuinely understood. I integrate evidence-based practices with experiential techniques to help clients connect thoughts, emotions, and body sensations in a way that promotes regulation and insight.

In my work with children, teens, and young adults, I often incorporate interactive and creative interventions to support emotional expression and skill development. With families, I draw from Emotion Focused Family Therapy (EFFT) to strengthen caregiver confidence and deepen connection.

I approach therapy collaboratively, honoring each client’s identity, culture, and lived experience while building practical tools for emotional regulation and relational growth.

What you can expect from me

In our first session, clients can expect a warm and structured introduction to the therapy process. We will discuss what brings you in, your goals for therapy, and any relevant history that may help guide treatment. I prioritize creating a comfortable environment where you feel heard and not rushed.

For children and adolescents, the first session often includes both caregiver input and time with the child or teen individually. Together, we’ll begin identifying patterns, strengths, and areas for growth while clarifying next steps.

My goal in the first session is for you to leave feeling understood, supported, and clear about how we will move forward.
