Specializes in

Anxiety, Depression, Family Issues, Sleep disorder, and Stress

Great to meet you!

I assess and treat adults experiencing emotional difficulties associated with anxiety, depression, trauma, adjustment to major life events, and preparing for and healing from medical procedures including bariatric and cosmetic surgeries. Mood symptoms can have a negative impact on relationships, self-esteem, one’s ability to participate in meaningful activities, and management of health behaviors related to sleep, physical activity, and pain.

A bit about my approach to therapy

I bring an understanding of how biological, psychological, cultural, and social factors are interrelated and influence one’s lived experience. I am board certified in rehabilitation psychology, with expertise in helping individuals and their loved ones effectively cope with physical disability, chronic medical conditions, and health challenges and changes.

What you can expect from our first session

I enjoy working with individuals from diverse backgrounds. I am a strengths-based psychologist with a passion for increasing motivation and eliciting my clients' inner strengths and resilience. I believe that people are the expert on themselves. I promote collaborative treatment planning, self-compassion, and self-empowerment through the therapeutic process.
