Great to meet you!

I am a board-certified adult psychiatrist and Assistant Clinical Professor of Psychiatry at The Mount Sinai Hospital.

I provide psychiatric evaluation, medication management, and psychotherapy for adults experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma-related symptoms, attention difficulties, mood instability, and major life transitions. I also support individuals in understanding how identity, relationships, culture, faith, and immigration experiences may influence their emotional well-being. I welcome people of all gender identities, sexual orientations, racial and ethnic backgrounds, cultures, and faith traditions. My approach is collaborative, thoughtful, and individualized. My primary orientation is psychodynamic, with additional training in trauma-informed treatment , Transference-focused psychotherapy (TFP) and dialectical behavior therapy(DBT).

When medication is appropriate, I will explain the available options and work with you to create a treatment plan that reflects your symptoms, preferences, medical history, and personal goals. I offer both in-person and virtual appointments.

What you can expect from me

My approach is collaborative—I work closely with my patients to develop individualized treatment plans that truly work for them. I have experience working with individuals, couples, and families from diverse sexual, racial, and cultural backgrounds. My goal is to take a constructive, and supportive approach to help you reach your potential and achieve your goals. I am here to support you on your mental health journey.

Disclaimer: In the first session, I do not provide disability evaluations, leave of absence, or return-to-work letters for new patients.
