Great to meet you!

Hi, I’m Mandy Palermo, PMHNP.

I joined Headway because I wanted to practice differently — with more time, more intention, and a more complete approach to mental health.

I’m especially passionate about supporting women’s mental health, working with parents, and helping individuals who feel overwhelmed by the constant demands of work and life.

I also enjoy working with ADHD, anxiety, and depression — particularly when things feel complicated, frustrating, or not fully addressed in the past.

These are areas where a more thoughtful, individualized approach can make a meaningful difference.

My approach to therapy

In many settings, mental health care can feel rushed or overly focused on medications without fully understanding what’s driving the symptoms.

That’s not how I work.

I take the time to look at the full picture and create a plan that actually makes sense for you — whether that includes medication, lifestyle adjustments, or both.

What you can expect from me

Our first appointment, I like to learn about what brings you in. We discuss your background, things you have tried (things that worked and what hasn't). We discuss options and treatment plans.

I always aim to provide:

A calm, supportive environment

Thoughtful conversations (not rushed visits)

Clear, honest guidance

A plan that evolves as you do
