Great to meet you!

Are you feeling overwhelmed, anxious, depressed, or simply exhausted from trying to manage everything on your own? You do not have to figure it all out alone.

I am Shanta Jenkins, MS, LPC, MAC, SAP, a Licensed Professional Counselor, Master Addiction Counselor, and certified Substance Abuse Professional who provides a compassionate and safe space where you can be heard and supported. I believe therapy should help you understand yourself, develop practical tools, and create meaningful change.

I work with adults experiencing anxiety, depression, stress, grief and loss, relationship concerns, self-esteem difficulties, setting boundaries, and challenges managing overwhelming thoughts and emotions.

My approach to therapy

My approach is collaborative and tailored to you, drawing from evidence-based Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT). You don’t have to have everything figured out before starting therapy. Whether you are facing a difficult season or simply want to feel more grounded and confident, we can work together to help you move forward with greater clarity, confidence, and peace.

What you can expect from me

Your first session is a welcoming space where we will begin getting to know you, what brought you to therapy, and what you hope to change or understand. I will listen to your concerns, ask thoughtful questions, and help you identify the areas that are creating the most stress or difficulty and we will begin exploring your goals for therapy.
