Great to meet you!

Something I heard early in my own healing journey stayed with me: that I could use my life as a "book" to help others. I think about butterflies often — the courage it takes to transform, and how that process is rarely linear or tidy. Therapy, I've found, works the same way. It takes real courage and hope to reach out for support, and I don't take lightly what it means to be a companion on that journey. I'm a licensed marriage and family therapist in the San Francisco Bay Area. I work with adults and adolescents navigating anxiety, depression, grief, cultural identity, relationship challenges, and life transitions.

My approach to therapy

My approach is collaborative and grounded in where you are right now. I draw on Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to examine patterns in thinking and behavior that keep you stuck, and Motivational Interviewing to help you get clear on what you actually want — and what's been in the way. I also bring in Art Therapy for clients who find that words sometimes fall short, and Positive Psychology to build on what's already working in your life. Together we'll find what actually fits you.

What you can expect from me

My goal is for you to leave each session feeling genuinely seen — and with something concrete to carry forward. Over time, clients tell me they feel more grounded in who they are, better equipped to handle what's hard, and more connected to their own capacity to heal. You don't have to come in knowing what you need. We'll figure that out together.
