Great to meet you!

I believe therapy is a space where you should feel seen, heard, supported, and empowered to create meaningful change in your life. My approach is compassionate, collaborative, and rooted in the understanding that every woman’s story is unique—especially for Black and Brown women navigating the many layers of identity, relationships, motherhood, work, family, and everyday life.

I support women experiencing depression, anxiety, prenatal and postpartum challenges, life transitions, and the daily struggles that can sometimes feel overwhelming. I recognize that becoming a mother, preparing for motherhood, or simply trying to balance the demands of life can bring emotions and experiences that are difficult to put into words. You do not have to navigate those experiences alone.

As a therapist, one of my greatest strengths is helping women recognize their own voice, resilience, and power. Together, we can work toward greater self-awareness, healthier boundaries, stronger coping skills, and a deeper sense of confidence in navigating life’s challenges.

You deserve a space where your experiences are respected and your whole story matters.

My approach to therapy

My style is warm, nonjudgmental, honest, and person-centered. I work alongside you to understand what you are experiencing, identify patterns that may be holding you back, and develop practical tools that support your emotional well-being. I believe in creating a therapeutic relationship where you can show up as your authentic self and feel safe enough to explore both the difficult moments and the strengths you may have overlooked.

What you can expect from me

Your first session is an opportunity for us to get to know one another and begin creating a safe, supportive space for your healing. I’ll invite you to share what brought you to therapy, what you’re currently experiencing, and what you hope to gain from our work together.

There is no expectation that you have everything figured out or know exactly where to begin. We’ll move at a pace that feels comfortable for you, and I’ll listen without judgment while learning about your experiences, strengths, challenges, and the areas where you would like support.

We’ll also talk about what therapy may look like moving forward and identify some initial goals that feel meaningful to you. My hope is that you leave your first session feeling heard, respected, and supported and with a sense that you don’t have to navigate your journey alone.
