Great to meet you!

My name is Manqing 'Eve' He, a multilingual counselor who grew up in China, lived shortly in Malaysia, and is now based in NYC and California. Clinically, I have 10 years of experiences in psychological assessment and psychotherapy, especially with sexual violence, complex trauma, anxiety, relationship issues, self-esteem, and identity issues.

My approach to therapy

As a counselor who have immersed herself in both the eastern culture and the western world, my practice focuses on adapting different school of therapy approaches with an emphasis on understanding each individual's complexity in the context of culture, identities, race, and communities.

What you can expect from me

Therapy can be overwhelming, irritating, and sometimes even painful. However, it is also a courageous and empowering journey you are taking to heal and thrive. Through working together, I hope to assist you to feel more curious about your emotions, thoughts, and patterns, and feel more comfortable to be yourself. I hope to assist you to enjoy much more satisfying romantic and non-romantic relationships. I will listen with genuine interest and share my honest feedback in a warm and gentle way.
