Great to meet you!

Hi there! My name is Manny and I work with individuals and couples who are struggling with issues ranging from career transitions to post-traumatic stress. I got my start working as a grief counselor and it continues to be a passion of mine, as well as serving overlooked populations like male survivors of sexual abuse and minoritized communities.

My approach to therapy

My style is culturally competent, trauma-informed, and humanistic. I tailor my approach based on each client's needs and take my time to understand each person's goals. I am also trained in EMDR, which is an evidence-based technique that helps relieve symptoms of PTSD that talk-therapy alone cannot reach.

What you can expect from me

Clients can expect a gentle but direct counselor who will encourage and also challenge them. I also strive to create an environment where there is room for humor and creativity. My ultimate goal is for clients to build awareness of their needs and the reasons behind their behaviors, using that "data" to change patterns and break cycles.
