Great to meet you!

I realize there may be some butterflies in your stomach right now, and I appreciate you taking the time to get to know me better.

Meeting with me is meant to occur in a safe space to share what you want. But also know you can decide what you do not wish to share with me. I am pretty good at reading body language, including when someone is holding back.

Whether an athlete, mother, father, son, daughter dealing with anxiety, trauma, or depression. You will be in a space of being seen and heard.

A bit about my approach to therapy

I know that coming to counseling is to push you out of your comfort zone and be open to different perspectives. However, I am not an in-your-face person and will not call you out on things unless we have established that type of bond. Instead, I believe people are on their journey at their own pace.

I will respect your needs, encourage you at times, and give you the space to decide your comfort pace.

What you can expect from our first session

Continuing to work with me, you will get someone who hears you and understands what you are going through.

We will partner to explore your challenges and help you find the strength to get past this chapter in your life. You will gain tools that will provide you the ability to overcome the difficulties from your past and present and the ability to apply them to any future challenges that come your way.
