Great to meet you!

My name is Mara Justice, I have a Doctorate in Clinical Forensic Psychology and I am a Licensed Psychologist in the State of California. I have experience working in many different areas including community mental health, charter schools, non-public schools, correctional mental health, psychological assessment, and intensive outpatient treatment. I have experience working with adults experiencing a myriad of diagnosis but have had most of my experiencing evaluating and treating severe mental illness (schizophrenia, schizoaffective disorder, bipolar disorder, etc). I also have experience working with individuals managing the stressors and anxiety that comes with navigating life.

A bit about my approach to therapy

When it comes to therapy, I like to meet the client where they are at and work with them to develop sessions that are comfortable, useful, and appropriate for their needs. I often like to gather information and make an assessment of your needs, so my approach in the beginning is question and information gathering initially, then collaboration to work toward your goals

What you can expect from our first session

Clients should expect to take away a sense of feeling heard after a session with me, but at the same time, you take away what you put into a therapy session.
