Great to meet you!

If you find yourself overthinking every detail or struggling with racing thoughts when you're trying to sleep, you don't have to navigate those challenges alone. My name is Mara, and as an LICSW, I specialize in helping adults manage anxiety, depression, trauma, and ADHD to find real solutions for real-life problems. Whether you are seeking closure from past trauma or simply want to feel more in control of your daily life, I provide a warm and collaborative space where you can finally feel free to be yourself.

My approach to therapy

My therapeutic approach is grounded in evidence-based tools like Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing and Solution Focused Therapy (SFT) to help you feel more grounded and empowered. I believe therapy should feel like a supportive, non-judgmental conversation where your experiences are heard and your goals are prioritized. Together, we can work toward the freedom and mental clarity you deserve.

What you can expect from me

During your first session, you can expect a warm and structured intake process designed to help us build a comfortable therapeutic relationship. We will begin with a collaborative conversation where you can share what brought you to therapy, whether it is managing racing thoughts, navigating trauma, or seeking better strategies for ADHD. I will also ask questions about your background and history to gain a holistic understanding of your needs, while we address essential logistics like Confidentiality and Informed Consent.

The primary goal of this initial meeting is to ensure you feel heard and to begin defining your unique path toward healing and freedom. We will discuss your specific goals for treatment and explore how evidence-based tools can be integrated into our work together. This session is a safe, non-judgmental space for you to ask questions and determine if my approach feels like the right fit for your journey.
