Great to meet you!

Hi, I’m Maranda Carney, a licensed therapist specializing in Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder (OCD) and anxiety-related disorders. I understand how relentless and consuming anxiety can feel — whether it’s the loop of intrusive thoughts, the weight of compulsions, or the constant sense of unease. My goal is to help you find clarity, confidence, and relief.

My approach is warm, collaborative, and deeply respectful of your lived experience. I work to create a space where you feel supported — not judged — and where progress feels possible. Together, we’ll work toward breaking free from the cycle of anxiety and building a life driven by your values, not your fears.

You don’t have to face OCD or anxiety alone. I’m here to help you move forward, one step at a time.

A bit about my approach to therapy

I use a range of evidence-based approaches tailored to your unique needs, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP), and Inference-Based Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (I-CBT). I-CBT is especially effective for individuals struggling with obsessive doubts and mental rituals (often known as "Pure O"), offering a powerful framework to challenge the distorted reasoning patterns that keep OCD in place.
